Paul began his photographic career 20 years ago as a wildlife photographic safari guide in some of Zimbabwe's choicest camps and wildest places. In 2006 he graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism degree, awarded with distinction.

Paul has recently completed a Masters in Fine Art degree and now juggles his ongoing fine art projects alongside a freelance journalism career, as well as teaching photojournalism at Rhodes University, South Africa.
