EA 61 Mayfield Cemetery is a deeply personal endevour towards restitution for the paupers. In this stop frame animation sequence, I photographed my digging of a grave in Mayfield cemetery over three days, after which a pauper was released from the local mortuary and buried. The plot allocated for the pauper was plot number EA 61 and was, ironically located at the very periphery of the cemetery, along the boundary fence furthest from town.
